RECOGNITION OF
HEALTH SECTOR SERVICES
The Department of Health will recognize the Health Sector services in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province with a clear distinction between regulation, monitoring, and provision of health services in order to achieve the optimum benefit within the available resources for the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province. The Government's role as guardian for the health of the citizens of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is to regulate according to international standards the quality of health care services and health care providers and medical training institutions.
The mission of the Department is to protect and improve the health of the people in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
About the Programme
The primary goal of the Sehat Sahulat programme is to improve the health status of the targeted population through increasing access to quality health services and to reduce poverty through reduction of out of pocket payments for health expenditures in KP.
